Week 2 Day 1-4 (usual sch days)

Monday

It was Nicholas's birthday, we bought him a large cake and we celebrated with him. The candles they used were different from Singapore, it's a very thin stick wax candle which only last about 2mins or so. After we sang a birthday song for him, we took the 1st piece out of the cake and offered it to Lee to share with the rest of his roommates (not sure if he did took the whole thing out by himself).

Our slice of cake did not go to waste, because Lee decided to extend our journal dateline by 1 more day. (haha)

Tuesday

It was our 1st interaction with students from School of Foreign Language Studies. We got to know a lot of china friends during the ice-breaking session, i found out that most of them are going to Singapore to study, either in NTU or private colleges. They are only lending this place to learn English for a short period of time before they come Singapore.

The most warm-welcoming friend was Terry, he was always in high-spirited and is very open and friendly toward us. That night, we had lots of fun with the locals. We played 2 games organised by them and 2 games organised by our side. We had musical chairs, octopus entanglement, 3 legged run and captain's ball. I don't feel any difference in the way we feel like we're part of them and they are part of us, we work together as a team and enjoy every moments.

We also had performances by the locals; singing, dancing and chinese calligraphy. The whole interaction session ended at about 10p.m, we went out to get dinner along with our new friends, Winter, Terry etc who happened to live next door from where i stayed.

Wednesday

Our next IS lesson in the morning. This time he taught us communist, politics etc. It was a great lesson, we learnt about how China/Wuhan develops since the great revolution and how the government controls its people.

Then we all went back to our room and start our revision for tomorrow quiz (10%).

Thursday

Our 1st quiz day, was kind of unexpected for me. Not very sure how well i did, hopefully can score 70% and above.

Week 2 Day 5-7 (weekend outing)

Friday

We visited the Coca Cola factory in the morning. Basically, we went to see how they manufactured the container to store the beverage, Coco Cola company doesn't only comes in one type of drink as what i always thought. In the factory we visited, they also have Sprite & etc.

After watching a short film of the history of Coca Cola, we went into the factory and see how they, using high pressure water spray, clean the containers. Although we didn't get to see how they actually mix the chemical to create coke or other beverage, but it was a eye-opener.

We received a 2.5% research report from Jian during the afternoon SDC tutorial, after that we had a early sleep after packing our clothings for tomorrow's water rafting.

Saturday

We took 3 hrs ride to the water rafting area, the bus driver was quite reckless in his driving. It's almost like riding on a roller coaster, doing a slightly more like 90 degrees turn on the edge of the cliff at 40-50 km/hr. The whole ride was rather exciting as the driver overtook all the vehicles in front of him, he even cut through a bus on a single lane road. The annoying thing is that he keep honing throughout the whole journey.

We reached Lülin (Green Forest, 绿林) Resort. We had quite a heavy lunch, making sure we have the strength to finish up the 1hr+ rafting. After lunch, we head to the nearby stall to get ourselves straw shoes which cost 2 RMB. Although the straw shoes are a quite uncomfortable, but we're able to experience how the people in the oldies wear as their footwear.

The water rafting was very fun!!! although it's a bit tiring after rowing for a while, seem impossible to make it in 2hours. Shortly after we set off, Shengsheng dropped his paddle and we had to stop by the shore and wait for someone to pick it up for us because the current keep flowing and we're unable to row backward. The best part of the water rafting is the fast streaming river, really exciting and fun, but the water is very chilling... After resting for a long time, letting the current lead us toward the goal, we found ourselves reaching goal in no time.

When we reached land, we took a shower at the bathroom. Our next location is Beauty Valley which is another scenic site. Some of the people took the Bamboo Sampa or raft over a distance of 300m, while the rest of us walk our way there, we saved RMB$10 by walking ^^

The water is very clear and cold, it comes from the mountain top and you can't drink it yet because it haven't been distilled. We saw a few waterfalls on the way which is incredibly beautiful. We walked through the whole valley for about an hour after that we headed by to Mandarin Duck Mansion for our stay.

Sunday

This day is one of the most tiring day, we started our day to Lülin valley which there is a carving that wrote "13 heroes were created from lulin valley" There is also a poster showing the names and informations of these 13 heroes. The first task was vertically 800 metres stairs which really put a lot of us into test, but it was surprizing to see everyone clear that without about problem. The stairs are rather dangerous but it was adventurous.

Our last location is the ancient army camp at lulin, which is at the peak of the mountain with a history of 1000 years. The air on the mountain was rather less-polluted, and we can see how the people actually live on high places. They have a few watchtowers to guard the main camp from enemies and chariots was found on the field. The grass are rather long and some of them, if you use ur hand to rub on them, actually smell quite nice.

This is call "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" I'll be posting my daily journal on my blog (50% of my overall module) as well as letting frens (u!!) know what have i been "hurhur" in china =D

Day 1

It was the most exciting day of my life, china would be my 2nd furthest places i ever been from home. As early as 5.30am on the actual day, we reached the airport T1 (port 6). Everyone seem so high-spirited and looking forward for the trip. We went into the waiting room at about 7am, took a light breakfast.

At 8am, we departed from Singapore to Guangzhou, it was a bit disappointing that i didn't get the window seat (><). However, the senior next to me was very kind, he shared with me a lot of things along the way. After 3+ hours of flight, we landed on GZ safety (thx God). We spend 4hrs while waiting for the next flight from GZ to Wuhan, which is our destination. We reached Wuhan at around 7pm after an hour of short flight. We boarded the bus prepared by Wuhan University, to a grand hotel where we took our dinner there, we had a great time knowing each other over the meal.

After dinner, we continued our journey straight to the university for our 6 week stay. We were all rather amazed to see the different vehicles and road rules in Wuhan. There was trucks with only 3 wheels, 1 in front and 2 behind, just like a tricycle. Motorcycles were on the pavement for people on foot, 1 motorcycle are shared among 3 to 4 people, even 5 is possible. After a whole day of travel, we were so tired. We went to bed as soon as we reach our room.

Day 2

Lessons were cancelled today, instead we had a tour around campus. The whole campus is huge!!!, it's almost like 2 times the difficulty we walked from NP bus-stop to the AT hub. The weather over here is as humid as Singapore, maybe slightly warmer over here. Our lecture building is all the way on top of the hill. That will be our workout before and after our meals.

After the campus's tour, we went to tour around our neighborhood shops to re-stock our daily necessities and some snacks. Most of us bought a prepaid card which allowed us to contact each other during our stay. The hyper-market (Wal-Mart), was where we stocked up most of our things.

Since we're living in a apartment with 4 rooms, 2 toliets, 1 living room, 8 people, we made plans as to what we should get to maintain the place neat & tidy. We bought a lot of cleaning agents, snacks and 9 dozens of 1.5 litres of water!! We all had a hard time carrying all the stuffs especially the water back to our 5th storey apartment.

After we finally managed to bought all the stuffs into the apartment, everyone took a small break. Then we started to clean up the whole place, everyone did their part and we finish the whole place in an hour or so.

At night, we went out of the campus to explore some new areas, and had our dinner there. The food at the roadside stalls were rather oily, we ordered a few such as fried rice and noodles but it tasted very nice, and the price is rather cheap.

Day 3

Our 1st lesson was taught by a china lecturer or professor on the topic : Business Etiquette. He taught us some skill and knowledge about how to handle business meetings/events/meals with other countries. The most impression to me is chinese people likes to eat until the whole table is very dirty, they don't mind at all, while western people are more particular with it. Although, i have some difficulty trying to catch some of the words he said, because of his accent, i still learnt a lot during the 3+ hours.

After our lunch at one of the noodles shop outside, Mr jian taught us SDC , system dynamic & control. He was a funny lecturer, just like Tan CH. Comparing these 2 lecturers, Tan likes to crack his 'lazy' & 'freestyle' jokes, while Jian likes to crack his 'dirty' & 'misleading' jokes. I'm glad he teach us SDC, it's much better to learn from a lecturer who is funny & cute looking.

The night was quite boring because we still did not get our internet up. We rested early today after doing some revision and journaling.

The white hair is Mr Jian, the former shirt guy in the back is Mr Lee, our course manager. You can see their computer room facilities are well-equipped with a lot of computers, air-conditioner, lights.

Day 4

Our morning lesson is taught by a pretty lady professor or lecturer, also from china. Her english accent was much better compared with the one from yesterday (no offense). She taught us about China's places of interest especially in Wuhan, their culture and food. The whole lesson was rather lengthy & dry, even i, couldn't focus well throughout the whole lesson, a lot of people fell asleep. I paid rather more attention when she started talking about the 'food', i think most of us did too. (haha!).

She also taught us about places where we would be visiting during the weekends. I'm quite looking forward for this weekend where we can go shopping!! and see yellow-crane tower.

Afternoon lesson was SDC by Jian again. Nothing much to write about unless you want me to related some of his cold jokes to you.
(don't deduct my marks, kidding!)

Day 5

We woke up early in the morning and took a bus to the steel factory. Unfortunately for me, i can't go in to see because i was wearing slippery due to my cracked toe nail which was caused over a basketball match 2 days ago.

We came back at about 12 pm. A group of 10 people including me, went to a restaurant to have our lunch. The fishball soup we ordered was delicious, it was really made of fish paste from a huge fish. There was a big bowl of soup, and a meatless fish at the bottom of the bowl and 30+ fishballs floating above. This is one of their 'must-try' dishes in Wuhan. We bought some fireworks on the way back.

The road on the way back, especially when crossing, was rather dangerous. Everyone was jaywalking the road, and we can't expect the cars to watch out for us.

2pm was Jian's turn again ...

At night, i did some laundry myself. This is my 2nd time doing laundry so i'm still not very good at it. I think the 6 weeks stay here can improve my self-dependent skills.

Day 6

No lesson on weekends.

We went to Hubei museum in the morning with a wonderful female tour guide, our lecturers seems to like her a lot. It's really a amazing place there, we get to see a lot of ancient artifacts, scrolls, weapons and history informations. I'm particularly interested in the weapons' section where we can see how people fight during the old times.

After that, we went to a very big food street. 5 of us put RMB$105 in the food payment card and we 'attacked' almost every stall and tried all sort of delicacies. For the first time, i tried a black smelly tofu, i didn't like it at all!

We walked about 300m to the yellow crane tower after filling our stomachs. The place was quite fascinating. It was rebuilt again and again after several times of being destroyed during the warring age.

Yellow crane tower had a story behind it. People believe there was a so-called immortal who once stayed at this rest house for a year, after that he gave the owner of this rest house a yellow crane. The yellow crane danced and made lots of money for the owner. Finally, one day the so-called immortal came back and took back his crane and flew away.

Day 7

Today is our 2nd outing day. We visited one of largest park in Wuhan, it was located just along the Chang Jiang River. The whole park which range about 7km, was filled with people and activities. I still can remember some guys playing tennis against the wall in the park, parents bringing their children out. I must say it's one of the healthiest relaxation outing for everything, full of trees and flower and dinosaurs fossil.

After strolling for about 1hr, we headed our way about 300m to the shopping area for our lunch and some SHOPPING! Initially, we were a bit lost as to where the tour guide told us about a underground food street. Anyway we took our lunch somewhere in a chinese eatery place. After that, we continued shopping the whole area. The price here are fairly cheaper than what was sold in Singapore, but there are still items which didn't drop too far behind such as PSP and nike shoes.

I bought a couple of shirts and a pair of jeans, jeremy who went with me, bought some shirts as well and we went to explore new things and snack over there. I also learnt a few new terms of words during the trip such as spoon (sha zi) etc.

ouch!!...

i'm not very sure wat i eat that will cause this pain... i guess my liver isn't doing well =(

went out makan with my brothers and sisters @ hong kong restaurant last friday, den order a cheesy pork chop spaghetti... den after a few bite.. my left liver start to feel a bit painful. prolly like wad YY said, cheese is v 'ko ya' (meaning v filling). only ate half, gave half to YY

not v sure wad the problem lies leh... but i think got smth to do with oily food ba, i everytime eat 2 oily stuff den the pain will come. it will last me thruout the whole night making me almost impossible to slp. If i ever managed to slp thru this pain, the nxt morning seem better than b4.

since young, i always tot the smoke from cigg makes me breathless ill, den comes the pain. it was a good signal that my body react so that it impossible for me to pick up smoking. But then now i realise my internal organs isn't dat good either.

the part which hurts most, i think is cause by dat 'incident' a few yrs ago. maybe my liver wasn't born weak but rather was dmg by him...

As for (2), the school took my passport to apply visa (2pid visa) hence not able to go out for a period of time.

gonna be quite excited with the upcoming china trip =) 6wks shoik!!

ytd we commerced our mission in campus, i bought 2 honeydew, custered sugar, 2 'dangerous knife' to skool. went to the student's union and start preparing @ 9am, found out there isn't

our leader bought his "真功夫" to sch... put the chocolate fondue + eva milk to the bowl and turn to 'steamboat mode'... shortly after 1minute, i can smell burnt choco aldy ->.<-

our leader relli cmi... b4 we even set off to attack the customer, he left us to his own business... and he didnt even come for the last meeting we had... Zzz nvm (we keep our profit to ourselves)

today, went to my primary sch... i relli do miss my form teacher... wad i so miss abt her .. hmmm i rmb she gave me $10 for scoring A* for maths =x
the school relli changed a lot, got to know my FT already retired and she would come back as relief teacher occasionally (i guess i do a 'spot-check' on the school in future)
im quite surprized, this is the 1st day i went to a school open house, they do lots of fund-raising everywhere, i shut my wallet tight =x

relli miss my primary sch frens... i wonder if i will get to see them again ><

IT show - Dell

fun and exciting, the most memorial part was there was this customer standing a few metres away from me, stared @ me, and i stare back. Then she (auntie) nodded her head @ me, i nodded back, then she nodded again, i did likewise... lolz... they thought i was communicating thru bluetooth wif her... haha

Broadcast @ Asia - Panasonic

This event is basically like a show where almost all the broadcasting companies showcase their cameras, advance techonology computers, advance video recorder etc etc which normally u see in TV studio.

Some interesting things and i had this fate with Uncle Tee (haha), thurs i saw him @ kovan MRT. even we stay so close to each other but nvr saw one another around, but kovan is like another side of singapore from our places. The next day i was working @ Expo (further than kovan), and i saw him again 0.0

nth much abt my experiences during DELL except i got to know a junior (quite cute ^^) from my sec sch, ltr i rmb we met thru irc last time and i even borrowed her my comic... (she tore 1 page out of it accidently) old days huh?

panasonic was great, a lot of slack things, we basically help them look after the equipment and bags in the lounge, sitting there with yicheng, eating and drinking all we can (lots of icecreams).
ltr we were picked by Teo (our boss) to his office to move stuff, he treat us some japanese snack (v nice ^^) ltr on that night, his boss (bigger boss) treat all the stuff to seafood dinner, we were invited too... so nice the food ~^.^~

15 june - was late for Kelvin * Stacy BBQ day =( but im touched by the ppl there still provide me so much fun and cares. Went watch a heart breaking killer thrill movie [Prom Night].

so basically, im still the same as who i am, right from the start.

Wooooah!! so long never blog... look rusty and old, i tried to re-create a new blog with new skin, but im encountering some problems with the blogskins, i can't seem to save or preview it... "some errors will surely occur", i perfer the old blogger type

Some interesting things for me, maybe it does well for u too =) esp to those who are dating or hoping to date or looking for one.

It pops the balloon.
It kills the chemistry.
FEELING like you want to tell her and thenasking about HOW to tell her is bad because itshows that you're not GETTING IT.

All right, so let's go off on tangent #2...
You mentioned in your email that this girlyou're seeing is inexperienced in the datingworld.
If she's REALLY inexperienced, then you mightbe in big trouble.
See, she might be falling IN LOVE with you.
All of this seeing her every day business butnot taking things to the next level (and feelinglike you want to tell her how you feel reallyreally really badly) might be setting her upemotionally for a late-night drive to Vegas andmarriage vows at the Drive Thru with Elvis.
If a woman is inexperienced, then it's veryimportant that you NOT screw this up. If you do,it might be bad.

So, let's talk a bit about ATTRACTION.

If you want to "tell" a woman that you "likeher", the best way to do it is to ADVANCEPHYSICALLY.
In other words, TAKE THINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
DO something, don't SAY something.
Words are to be used when ACTIONS don't workbetter.
But DO NOT "tell her how you feel".
Unless, of course, you want to drive to Vegas.
Finally, let me give you some advice about thissituation of "she calls me everyday to hang outand I can't turn her down".
TURN HER DOWN.
I know, I know... Powerful.
If you're in love with this girl and want tomarry her, have kids with her, drive your cutebrats to soccer practice in your white minivan,and wear lots of Dockers clothing, then forgetwhat I'm telling you.
Who knows, you might have found one of thoserare, wonderful women that so many of us arelooking for.
BUT, if you're just at the stage where it'stime to take things to the next level, then do itwith your ACTION, not with your WORDS.

we're holding the 3m welcome banner in front of Changi Airport Terminer 1 Arrival hall... to welcome a group of taiwen tkd team (a lot of kawaii kids)

Today, theory test!... wat da hellz is dis again?? didn't he say "Gears and Chain only" ?? he said: "i taught ur b4 already wad, ur should know"... when was it... ... it actually @ the start of yr 2 term.. dat is like.. 5mths ago?? and he only go dat once... oh im suppose to study it too? blame on me stupidity for not remembering the formulas la... he didn't even teach us the topic and EXPECT us to study ourselves and get good grade... yeah he did talk abt G&C once... like a mth ago... abt 10mins of brief understanding... wow! Ian said: "Noris, can we re-take our test paper?", he said: "re-take oso no use, u guys won't study 1, wat the point?" That the 2nd person i really feel like slapping tight... the 1st was gone...

Noticing a lot of my fav types of show is going during that period on sunday, tracting still overrule them all. Lydia asked me: "How is my homework going?"

Homework? I haven't heard it for years, i don't have homeworks, everything is done in class =p... wat a interesting question huh?

Well, but still.. revising is still a MUST, esp dat humilating defeat on my recent test paper.

i was sure i gonna ace that paper and there no way Hui Xiang, who is always trying to claim his victory over me, will never beat me to that.

Judgement day comes
When i took back my paper, 0.o, looked @ Hui Xiang, "ya la, ya la, lose you la". i knew it! Unless he got full marks for the test, he will not beat me.

Didn't get to talk to Bryan b4 recess, so met him @ the canteen and try to get a topic going...

Reached school @ 8, everyone waiting for this day =)

2 curry puffs + 1 banana ball (it some fried flour ball wif banana inside, lolz) + 1 mineral water bottle.

yeah! we going dragonboating ^^, lol jonathan was so funny, he tried to change his pants in the bus, he sat right @ the back of the seats, lolz imagine dat~ the back seat are so high up until u can actually see his pants changing show from outside.. hah!

when we board the dragon boat, i sat in the 1st row (pacer), 2nd-4nd row is the engine and the rest are booster. hehe it was so fun... the instructor keep teaching us new method to increase our speed, we even plot to attack other boat.

We slowly paddled toward our target and rest, the target wasn't aware, they are still listening to the instructor telling story to them... haha, den we slow pace sliently toward them. when we were about 10 metres behind them, we all shout and full blast toward the side of the boat, initially we plan to attack from the right, in the end, we came from the left.. lol i was the pacer left guy -.-, the right side ppl keep the speed, while we keep attacking them, lol den we run...

the next strike we combine force with another boat to sandwich the same poor o' dragon again... lolz, zzz dis time they notice, they begin to run... lol after a few stop, rest, choing, we almost got them, our boat is a lot faster than them... lol not by a lot, but when the pt when we almost attacked, we had to stop cuz we reach the end of the dragonboating perimeters... lucky them!

To calculate ur Life, (i dunno) but it definitely got to do wif ur IQ, EQ, Phyiscal, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual.

I dreamt my sister is back!... woot... and she slim down from the last visit and looking great =D..

I dreamt driving a car, i do know how to operate a car, i juz dun haf a license.

Heyz!

Back from Jurong Youth Camp 2006, ill give a passing remark to it. very tiring indeed, for sure.

My lesson kinda too long-winded... hhmmm maybe i should go faster... i only barely touched abt 1/3 of wat im going say and Vincent say his hand up showing 5-10mins left... (oh-oh!)

Games wise... hmm i hope they like my wet games, i only focus on wet games coz i think ppl would perfer getting themselves wet on sunny weathers. Captain ball, Monkey as free-time games would cool. Injuries sustained but im too used to them, they are like part of me. My temper was rather bad, even though im facing with youths mostly younger than me, save of Ruiqi (RookiE), i should haf consider them to behave like this and self-control a bit... hope i didn't go too far =/

Some things i did found irriating to myself as well, but some things are ought to be done as a camp I.C. but still, i suppose, it for the benefits of the campers as well as the aim of this camp.

Well done to bro. Zilin, bro. Jia Meng and bro Joseph !!! They did wonderful song leading, prayer and some did devotion. We have found a lot of potential in them (quote Vincent)

Our talentine skit, well... it did went well and funny, im quite impressed by the young ones who can act so well... wat do we haf??? the 'ah lian luci-fen', 'ah soh luci-fen's mom', 'chubby zilin' (friend of Romeo), 'pretty tour guide', 'Extreme Romeo', 'Little Juliet', 'Extra o' me' (as visitor). Even though we didn't managed to convince the judges, but their hardwork and time for the preparation definitely won't lose to any other grps =D im so proud of it.

The 'tong' night was cool!!! ok i admit!! i admit everything i confess everything !!!... Risk is not my type of game dat night. Every battle, everyone were laughing @ me... the start of our game, i had a fierce battle with Eugene, 12 troops vs his 7-8 troops... no matter how i roll the dies... i keep losing... even i got risk card advantage which enable me to re-roll 1 time, i still lose!!! ... the battle end with leaving me 0 troops and eugene only lost 1 of his men -.-... arghhH!!! That was the 2nd risk game that night, the first 1 didn't last long coz i was eliminated with such 'blessing' of rolling dies which crack everyone from toe to head.

Later, played 3 matches of chinese chess with Vincent... which takes 3 hrs... haha 1st match lost becoz he was really strong, i underestimated him... blame 2pid canida for making him look so merciful... 2nd match, beat him at last.. score 1 : 1 =D. Then we gathered everyone to play some watermelon and murderer game b4 our third match... you know... it quite tiring to play chinese chess especially with really good ones like sean or vincent... 3rd match won but Vincent couldn't accept it... haha he got tricked into my chain killing style which eventually will led to a draw match but he decided not to follow @ the most critical stage... which led to his defeat =p

Totally cannot concentrate on my M&P lesson... feeling so sleepy =(, oh and great thanks to mr. useless nordin who saw thru me, and decided not to teach anything during product design. However, this is already the 4th week since he doing the same old thing... it is not like he is capable of teaching, in fact, he really sux @ teaching, and i remembered he such a novice in autoCAD last year, where he attend our class as learner, and now he teaching us autoCAD?

No one tell me tuesday afternoon lesson has been brought forward =/. i reached sch, called hui xiang, "Hello? hui xiang, which room are you guys in?", "wat? im @ home!"

Failure.

It is so ... not me ... i should have think thrice.

So this is how a failure leader feel like, a total 1...

Janelle was the first to approach me to organise this capt ball session u know... well it took a lot of months after i really set my mind to go for it. She just like my ka kias, and i know she look up to me as a 'more mature' bro(with joseph)/playmate(with eustacia). She was one that love capt ball more than anyone else here. She even offered her ball. She prolly a better captain than me (even though i pwned her with height). She didn't had her fun too much coz her team found her better standing on top of the chair, she did v well even im standing beside her.

After 40mins, we took a break. . . the ground is still wet. We decided to have our 2nd round but some of them already took enough injuries so we short of players to continue, we decided to play 'ice & water' (aka iceman or catching all or nothing if u muz). I already took the first drop and got some bruises on my legs, i should haf stop it.. but i continued...

She fell down shortly after me, she had a bad fall...

her tooth cracked and half of the tooth drop out... i heard the rest were still in but shattered, she felt dat they are falling... serious injury on her legs, ankle, chin and lips. my mind spinned v fast dat moment... her cry scream from the ladies, ... i dunno how to describe my heart ..., sitting outside helplessly waiting. i totally disappointed in myself... looking at her, heartbroken with her tooth, her image, a perm mark in her life, and all i could do is vain but to keep blaming myself.

Please pray for janelle chong, pray God's healing hand be upon her.

dun try comfort me le, i had enough... as a leader, responsiblility is a must, and i fail to do so...

wat a world of chocolate in my hse =/

dad brought chocolate bars home, den aunt-in-law brought us a chocolate cake (maybe from oversea), mom brought Merci and we had a Black forest cake a few days back for my mom's b'day... it not a bad thing but it really a very bad bad thing for people who is currently suffering from FCS (Food Craving Syndrome) <--- me!

it juz happened to be the right time where i been studying chocolates lately, borrowed dis 'Crazy About Chocolates' and '50 Children's Party B'day Cake' (forget the children; i using dat book to make a normal cake dat all). After "experimenting" the chocolates @ home.. hmmm yummy is the word. i still perfer the chocolate cake aunt brought for us, it quite uniquely made and it goes with a good mixture of different chocolates i played with it.

uncle eng boon came down all the way from KLANG!!! i was so looking forward for his lesson =D. if it wasn't for him and uncle steven who helped me wif the ydp devotions for the past years, God know how am i going to present, skip the embarassment part k? His first lesson about 'the needs of people' didn't disappoint me, interesting, simple, funny. too bad i din haf much time to catch up wih him, but there still today and tmr !! =D oh no... sunday, 2 gospel meeting crash with each other, i don't even know which should i attend, well if i bring her come, i definitely bring her to the english congre.

last night, i happened to watch the final episode of the amazing race 2hr special. i tell u, the Eric brothers(frat bros) are totally fooled by the BJ & Tyler. There is this 'road block', where 1 person of the team muz complete the task alone, in this 'road block' the member must take all 3 ride in this themepark where they will have to spot the magic word where they have to say it to get their next clue, if they cannot get the magic word out of the 3 rides, they have to do it again. BJ/Tyler lied to Eric that he saw the magic word on the 2nd ride, but when both of them took the 3rd ride together, both saw the magic word and got their next clue... i can imagine why so many teams dislike them now =/. wat heats the brothers up is when they lost their lead in the 2nd last pit stop to BJ bros on a duckboat race. Vengence is mine!

it was so funny during the last race, BJ bros actually managed to persuade the counter guy to LIE saying that there is no internet service, while the BJ bros are happily serving the internet on the 2nd floor, and the Eric bro sitting on the 1st floor waiting... And later, the BJ bros tried to follow the Eric bro around in the airport but got shake off when they hid themselves juz to lose them... hahahaha!! the last race was so close between those 2 teams, they keep lying to each other and following their other moves. BJ/Tyler won the race juz by 2 flags switch.

i just had the toughest tkd training ever o.0, i can't believe our madam's training is scarier than our sir. Non stop of foot kicking practise followed by sprinting a few around the campus, pumpings, sit-ups. Here goes "ok after 1 more cycle, we take a break...", after 10 mins, "ok lets have another 10mins of running before we take a break"... oh great, i didn't keep track of the time, i had to rush off for gospel meeting right after the break start... how i wish time will stop to let me rest for 10mins.
